I manage fine with 8 lo-caps in pouches and one in the gun!

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

Im very meh on hicaps at the best of times, especially when I realised the Thompson ones are 420rds, not the 200 I thought they were...

I think Im going to have to get a bunch of TM midcaps and damn the cost...Hicaps just feel...wrong.

The 20rnd 2/3 size ones have a capacity of 190, which is a good compromise between the lo- and hi-caps. They look good on a Thompson too! :D

Glad you all had a good day of it and the weather held out for you as well! Did the Germans not get organised and do a group photo at all?

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

As it seems to have been so successful presumably there'll be more PBI games in the future now?

Absolutely! We're already planning the next game, expect an announcement in due course. :D

Many thanks to all for making me feel so welcome on my first airsoft WW2 event.

Without a doubt, my best airsoft event attended - EVER.

Looking forward to the next event!

(Typical Italian airsofter - leaving halfway through the event!!)

any other of the Brit's ears still ringing from being sniped in the helmet by lardass on Sunday? Mine are killing me... leftover from the massive migraine I had on Sunday night, must have been all the squinting I was doing because of the sun.

well it was good times for certain Sunday-great day even though we were absolutely plastered in plastic by our Hun friends :ghey: hehehe

roll on next one!

Oh on my wish list- a Bren with fps of a bolt action-now would that not be cool (restrictions on use as with bolt action jobs) (imagine if we'd had a couple of them in the bunker.....)

Lardy- So that was you who dinged me on the helmet, my ears were ringing for ages!

I thought our 'Brenda' performed well. I did have a brief go of her - well for about 20 mins to be honest, she's such a heavy brute and I'm hopeless at firing from prone. I wanted to shoot from the hip but Barrie said I couldn't so I gave up and he took over again only to be pinned down in a ditch for ages.

Thanks again to all involved on Sunday, brilliant day - I love being a PBI member.

Anne

I got 3 or 4 helmet 'dings' but I don't know who they were other than Webby. Steiner (I think) got me back with double helmet hit in the pillbox defense game though. Thankfully M38 helmets don't seem to be as tuned as Brit ones.

Kav, if you mean when I outflanked you in the foxhole at short range sorry for giving you and Peppered a second burst, but I thought I'd only got Peppered and you seemed to be bringing your rifle round to shoot me so I thought I'd better make sure.

EDIT - and just for the record, fps wise it's probably less than a chinese MP40.

Thanks to everyone at Operation Varsity, best WW2 airsoft game I have been to, I did like the 45 minute games, it kept the action going, if all CIA games are as enjoyable as this I am going to have a great time, everyone was very friendly. Looking forward to Operation Husky.

Thanks again
